  frustrations of race luck
I was all over McLaren. I told my daughter all week I would go heavy on McLaren and rule the world big time. But of course when they seemed to **** in practice two I changed my mind. Oh well.

Bad days make the good ones better. I knew they were probably working the add-ons but Norris fooled me with his friday interview of complaints etc. Sometimes I think I would do better without watching practice.

Onward and upward.

From the start into the hairpin at Hock and through the right hander and onto the Belly straightaway leading to the 90 degree right hander of Bacon.
Round to Trotters and up to Chin before the 90 degree left hander at Snout.
Along to Shoulder followed by the Loin straight leading to the chicane at Tail and the Ham straight before the finish.

Lifted from the internet.

Haha, funny... I saw a cat lying on the floor, or a dog sleeping Snoopy-style.

frustrations of race luck
well i did not come back till yesterday as i knew the last race would crush me

i finally looked and i had dropped from fifth to fourteenth; it hurt some

but then i saw Carlisle in thirteenth; he dropped from first to thirteenth

forgive me Lord but i confess to a smile

By the way the Vegas track looks just like an upside down pig lol

@CF I really had high hopes to be a contender for the title in Constructors until a few races ago, but the way things look now, you deserved it more. Seems to me my chances in overall look better, in fact it's the only race where I still have reasonable and not just mathematical chances. So let's hope we will both have a bit of luck in last two races.

That round was a disaster. Leclerc out before the race started and an awful one for Mercedes. I think I'm destined to just never lift the main championship. Out of the Eliminator too and the Pro League gap is looking big. Gone from competing on 4 fronts to likely just one. As for the Cup, the two teams I thought would win both lost. Wild last 2 races where a lot would probably love a redo.

Only silver lining is I still have a decent lead in the Constructors with 2 races to go. Hopefully some kind of luck holds there!

I agree, I also avoided Perez throughout most of the season, but in the end he sits in the best car, he would be motivated at home and if his teammate was not Verstappen, he might even let him win.

I chose Perez in three teams (one of them being the one that ALWAYS makes wrong decisions), Horner four times, Honda motor three times and Verstappen once.

Somehow I still avoided the worst in constructors, and it is by far my best season in that competition in the last 12 years, but some people are just unbeatable at the moment.
Looks like my chances in overall standings are better, but Verstappen (or Perez) will have to win every quali and race from now on, or not having to use options anymore won't help much.

Alan, you're not alone there. I moved a fair few teams to include Perez and a lot of others did too (he ranked 3rd on component transfers before that race, behind just Norris and Piastri). He looked like he'd score solid points (relative to his value) and gain value. Red Bull also looked like they'd be strong around the track (Honda was the most popular engine transfer by a mile!).

With a clean first corner, the chances of a Red Bull 1-2 would have been very good.

Typical luck now will be most will drop him and he'll end up having a great race in Brazil!

Will Perez Complete an Opening Lap
I have avoided Perez all year but thought Mexico was the perfect track design (straight lol) for him. So two of my constructors teams featured Checo. I must have temporarily lost my mind lol.

My bad Lorrie, I must've mis-read it. Right call after all!

My -2 charging ERS bit me, though I have no regrets. I wanted to go all the way, so took the risk. Had I scraped through, I would've been a huge favourite.

I'd tip Lorrie and FxFan77 to make the finals but all it takes is one retirement to cause a shock!

match races
Love you Carlisle but I had used up all my points with overtake in the previous race and would have taken a ten pt penalty if I did not add for this race. So sad I didn't have a chance to face the great Carlisle Frost.
