Manager scoring.
|
Hello I would like to know how the manager scoring is done? How do you calculate the average positions on the race and what if the other car retires? The reason I ask this is because I looked at the statistic about managers points in the Australian GP race (no qualifying) and begun wondering how the points are calculated. regards, Keke

Thanks for clarifying. I suspected that the scoring system is the kind you replied it to be. Yesterday I tried to add up the scoring by giving 1st positioned driver 22 points, 2nd 21 point and so on and giving the retired drivers 0 point. This changed the Australian GP results a little: Caterham: your system 2p, my system 3p. (points without bonus points) Marussia: your system 3p, my system 4p. Toro Rosso: your system 4p, my system 2p.
Thanks for hosting this game!

Team manager scoring:
Qualifying: Just add up the positions of both drivers of a Formula 1 team and rank them in ascending order. 5 points for 1st position, 4 points for 2nd pos., 3 points for 3rd pos., etc.
Race: Just add up the positions of both drivers of a Formula 1 team (including the positions of not classified drivers) and rank them in ascending order. 10 points for 1st position, 9 points for 2nd pos., 8 points for 3rd pos., etc.
If both drivers of a Formula 1 team are classified, the team manager is awarded with 5 bonus points.
In the best case 20 total points per race are achievable with the team manager.
