2024: F1 races with a Sprint Event from the Chinese Grand Prix
|
Formula 1 race with a Sprint Event on Saturday:
Formula 1 has set a new session order:
1) Free practice 2) Sprint Qualifying 3) Sprint Race 4) Qualifying 5) Race
What does this mean for Pure Fantasy F1:
For the PFF1 Qualifying (tips, PFF1 starting grid), the result of the Qualifying is used (as in the races without a Sprint Event). In the PFF1 Race series, the additional points intended for the Sprint are still awarded (based on the PFF1 Qualifying results).
Kind regards Maverick

I agree Jobber; in fact they should get by Sauber and maybe Sargent.
By the way you are a classy dude to congratulate me. It easily could have gone either way and Lady Luck smiled on me that day.

Obviously, things would have been much better for me without the DSQ, but with my track record of bad luck at Monaco, I'm just rooting for classified finishes for both drivers at this point!
That reminds me, Monaco 2006 qualifying (MSC parking his car) was my introduction to how PFF1 handles (or rather, doesn't handle) post-session penalties.
By the way, belated congratulations Alan for winning our Cup duel. That was a fun one -- looks like neither of us held anything back |

disqualification of haas drivers from practice now 19th & 20th
|
Why don't the stewards et al measure these stupid parts before quallies instead of after?? This hyper technical rule for no apparent reason becomes the standard by which formula one teams are measured!
And Gakra it is nice to receive your input again. |

Pha, now I'm almost glad I wouldn't have had much of a chance against jobber's team to win the race, anyway. And that I have Hülkenberg twice only. Six times Haas chassis is a bummer, but then I guess almost everybody has them, and they might get +1 budget, anyway... for them it is probably more annyoing...

OK, thank you for clarifying this. I hate these Sprint races. Totally worthless.

So we must have our race teams picked following FP1? No, the game will be locked at the start of the Sprint Race.
So you are able to follow the FP1 and the Sprint Qualifying.
